He is a graduate of Cambridge University, with a PhD from University College London. He also works on innovation and IT, and the causes and consequences of economic uncertainty. He has led the WMS initiative since 2003.

She has led the WMS since 2005.

Between 2003 and 2016, John directed the Centre for Economic Performance and its Productivity, Innovation and Intellectual Property Programme. He has a PhD from University College London and BA from University of Cambridge and has published widely on the economics of innovation, labour markets and productivity. He has led the WMS since 2003.

He is currently a PhD Candidate in Business Economics at the Insper Institute of Education and Research. He spent a year as an International Visiting Student at the Rotman School of Management (University of Toronto). Since 2016, he has collaborated in different research projects led by WMS Fellows, especially in the area of school management and educational outcomes. In 2019 he joined the WMS as a Research Associate while finishing his PhD Dissertation on how management practices leverage organizational performance across both private and public sectors.[/minti_member]
